I am listening to two of my colleagues from the PMO argue over delivery frameworks. One of them is insisting that we just need to get the right fields set up for the project registration process in the PPM tool. The other is pushing to instead go through the list of all the current projects and figure out what the basic types are and what information we need about them.

All I can think about is that Plato is still pointing to the sky and Aristotle is pointing to the ground.

Meanwhile, the messy world is spinning around them, going about its actual business.
