I have gone and bought myself another keyboard, this time a Keychron K7. After the vagaries of shipping from China, it has finally arrived today and I am pretty happy with it. I went with the RGB backlight version and the Gateron Brown switches, which tend to be a pretty happy medium for me between the clicky and the quiet.
