Our new refrigerator arrives tomorrow, so I have spent most of the morning going through the old fridge and cleaning out the old one so that there is not too much to do tomorrow. That has involved driving two full ten-gallon buckets up to the residential compost drop-off at the north end of town (aka, the stinkiest place in Greenfield).

I had to shoo two turkey vultures off the dumpster; they are rather intimidating birds up close, but they moved along without too much fuss.

As an aside, it’s nice that getting a new fridge no longer takes sixteen months.
