I just read the news that Mimi Parker from Low has died. While I don’t listen to Low as much these days as I once did—particularly in the Great Destroyer era—it still makes me sad.

It is a weird thing finding myself in the stage of life when the artists I have followed and who have just always been around start dying. Obviously everyone dies, but it still comes as a shock, and particularly as the pace at which it is happening for my cohort.
