While I have come and gone from reading Popmatters regularly over the years, their metal reviews are consistently good.
The Best Metal Albums of 2020 list(https://www.popmatters.com/best-metal-albums-2020-2649097728.html) is filled with excellent stuff. So far this morning, I have listened to Wayfarer’s A Romance With Violence(https://album.link/us/i/1525205281) and Neptunian Maximalism’s Éons(https://album.link/us/i/1521169692), and both are very good albums.
