I will admit that I am having a pretty tough time feeling celebratory about the 4th of July this year.
It doesn’t feel right to be hanging out the bunting and shooting off fireworks in the face of internment camps for children and the rollback of decades’ worth of social progress in order to protect the interests of the ruling white male minority.
