I have now watched the just-released Ahsoka trailer at least four times in a row, and I have gasped out loud every single time. The first time, I found myself actually shouting at the screen in excitement.

I don’t tend to say much about Star Wars here, because so much of the online discourse about that universe is pretty gross and depressing these days, and also because after all, it is just entertainment.

I guess that all I will say here is that, as someone who saw the original movies in the theater as a kid when they came out and then had to sit through nearly ten years of no Star Wars at all, Heir To the Empire and the extended universe it kicked off meant a lot to me. I am pretty damn excited.
