I appreciate the idea of Libby and I like being able to have a library book on my phone for times when an actual book—my preference—is not practical.

In practice, however, I generally find that there are like twenty people waiting for either of the two digital copies the library has of the book, and the wait is weeks or months long. Not the library’s fault, I am sure; my guess is that it is publisher pricing and limitations.
