Finished reading: How Civil Wars Start by Barbara F. Walter 📚

This book is super depressing and not something to read if you’re feeling anxious about, well, basically anything.

I will note, however, that the phrase “It’s not hard to imagine…” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. I think Walters is working hard to overcome the anticipated it-can’t-happen-here reaction, but I also think that she overstates her case a bit.
