Finished reading: The Half Life of Valery K by Natasha Pulley đź“š

It was okay, but not great. While the main character is interesting, he is inconsistently written and the author periodically drops an “Oh and here’s some big thing I haven’t told you about before” surprise about him. The plot is weirdly paced, and the story, while interesting, feels a bit forced. It is set against a real historical eventand I feel like the author was more interested was more interested in that than the actual story itself.
