Apropos of a conversation I’ve been a part of, I’m coming to think that the whole “show your work” thing is part of the plague of the optimization plague. Ideas and creative pursuits need some time and space to brew; putting them out there on the internet as they are forming will kill them off and make you feel like a failure.
