I’ve been listening to the audiobook version of Martin Häaglund’s This Life: Secular Faith and Spiritual Freedom.

I like his notion of faith—that we can’t prove that our existence in this world and our relationships with the people around us mean anything, so we need to have faith that they do, and further, that the only way for our lives to have meaning is for them to be finite.

It’s a good book, and a lot to think about.
