I am trying to figure out why the TV has stopped powering on. The blinking standby light would seem to indicate a failed power board, but there is no visible damage to any of the capacitors. I am now at the limits of my skills, so I have ordered a whole new board off eBay. Still much cheaper than a new TV (assuming that fixes it).
