Today, I:
- Jogged five minutes from my house to the starting line and ran a 5k for a great cause.
- Walked ten minutes to the center of town and went to the farmers market, then to a festival celebrating the birthday of the guy who invented modern beekeeping and who lived in my town.
- Walked ten minutes to another festival with great music and a bunch of local breweries serving beer and cider.
At every one of those places, I randomly ran into friends, and now I’m home grilling our dinner on the deck and I can still hear music from the festival.
