I just finished reading The Ghost Notebooks by Ben Dolnick. It was okay, but not great. The tone is inconsistent over the course of the book, and the last hundred-or-so pages seem like Dolnick is stretching everything out to fill space. Then the ending comes and it is very sudden, as though he got tired of writing the book and decided to wrap it up then and there.
