It is both possible and reasonable to be simultaneously 1) unsurprised about what data Facebook has been collecting and the fact that it happily shared that data with Cambridge Analytica and 2) outraged about the fact that this stuff is going on. The faux-savvy “And this surprises you?” response seems unhelpful and disingenuous.
